Clinical Dental Technicians can make dentures and the cost of these can be covered on your medical card.
Under the DTSS Scheme operated by the HSE, we can repair , reline or add teeth, make new full upper and lower dentures and/or partial upper and lower dentures.
Repairs and additions can be done on demand. No approval from the HSE is necessary.
All other treatments need appointments where you fill in the necessary forms and we apply for approval in advance of treatment i.e. relines, full upper or lower dentures and/or partial upper and lower dentures.
All patients with natural teeth must have visited a dentist within the last 12 months. This is necessary to ensure the oral health of the patient is maintained.
All dentures are free under the DTSS Scheme.
